Hervey Motors started from a simple idea — buying and owning a car shouldn’t feel impossible. Growing up, cars were always something I loved, but the cars I really wanted always felt out of reach. Everything was expensive, dealerships never felt trustworthy, and chasing certain cars often meant huge loans, stress, and debt that only made life harder.
After years of seeing how difficult and frustrating the car market could be, I realised there was room for something better. Hervey Motors was built with a different mindset — honest deals, fair pricing, and a genuine passion for helping people get into vehicles they actually love without feeling taken advantage of. Whether it’s a first car, a reliable daily driver, or something a little more exciting, the goal has always been the same: make the experience better, simpler, and more affordable.
This isn’t about being the biggest dealership. It’s about building a brand people trust.

The vision for Hervey Motors has always been bigger than just selling cars. Over the next few years, the goal is to grow Hervey Motors into something the Perth car scene genuinely respects — not only for the cars, but for the way people are treated. From affordable daily drivers to future performance builds and unique vehicles, the dream is to build a brand that people can trust and actually feel connected to.
For me personally, this journey means a lot more than business. It’s about proving to myself that I was capable of building something real from the ground up. Like many people, life hasn’t always been easy, and there were plenty of times where success felt far away. Hervey Motors represents the idea that with enough work, consistency, and belief in yourself, you can create the life you always wanted.
A huge part of this journey is also making the people around me proud — especially my family — and showing that something great can come from starting small and staying committed.
The passion behind the wheels
What truly excites me about cars and the Perth car scene is that it feels real. It’s passion, creativity, personality, and hard work all brought together through cars. For a long time, I was honestly confused about what direction I wanted to take in life and what type of business I could genuinely see myself building. I kept thinking about what I actually enjoy and what I could turn into something meaningful, but for a long time I never really connected the dots. Then eventually I realised — cars have always been a huge part of my life.
I’ve owned cars like Commodores and always loved the culture around them, but like a lot of people, the cars I really dreamed about always felt out of reach. Good cars can be expensive, and chasing them can easily lead people into bad financial situations, massive loans, and stress just to try and keep up. That’s part of the reason Hervey Motors means so much to me — because I understand what everyday people in the car community actually go through.
